It’s funny how people market “one of a kind” as being special when it is really one of a kind because they made it that way.
I could bust out my reciprocating saw, cut out the taillights on the C5, then whip up some bondo and install some Cavalier tails. Surely it would be one of a kind...
With all that said, it isn’t a terrible price. But it’s also not a very good one if you’re willing to look around. However, there are several stock (read: preferable) examples with lower miles for sale around the country at lower prices. As an example, here’s a silver 2004 SL55 with 8,000 fewer miles listed for $11,000 less.

Someone spent a lot of time and money making that car significantly worse to look at. I can’t imagine it has lived a good life...
